Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Ivan Popov (1858). Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1891–93). Awarded a minor silver medal (1892), two major silver medals (1891, 1892) and the title of third-class artist (1893). Drew biblical studies (early 1890s).
