Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Fyodor Alexandrovsky in Riga (1842). Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1861–68). Awarded the titles of non-class artist (1864), second-class artist (1868) and first-class artist (1869). Academician of portrait and watercolour painting (1874). Honorary fellow of the Imperial Academy of Arts (1884). Painted watercolour portraits of the imperial family, cultural figures and peasant types. Collaborated with various magazines. Head of the Society of Russian Watercolourists (1902–04). Died in St Petersburg (1906). Contributed to the exhibitions of the Imperial Academy of Arts (from 1861) and the Society for the Encouragement of Artists.
