Painter. Serf. Extern student of the Imperial Academy of Arts (from 1831), who probably studied under Alexei Venetsianov (1833). Fellow of the Society for the Encouragement of Artists (from 1832). Awarded the title of free artist of portraiture (1837). Copied paintings in the Imperial Hermitage (1830s).
