Paolo Gonzaga
Italian theatrical designer. Born to Pietro di Gottardo Gonzaga and Carlotta Vanini in St Petersburg (1794). Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1806–16) and worked under his father at the Imperial Theatres (from 1818). Died in Pavlovsk (1877).
