Painter. Born in the family of Isaac Rusakov in the town of Sevsk in Oryol Province (1898). Studied under Nikolai Dubovskoi, Dmitry Kardovsky and Osip Braz at the Petrograd Free Art Studios/VKhUTEMAS (1918–24). Member of the Community of Artists (1924–27) and the Circle of Artists (1926–32). Died in Leningrad and buried at the St Seraphim Cemetery (1952). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1925).
