Graphic artist, sculptor, applied artist. Born in the family of Fyodor Barinov in the village of Losmino in Western (now Smolensk) Region (1929). Moved with his family to Moscow (1931). Graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture of the Mikhail Kalinin School of Art and Industry in Moscow (1953). Worked as a wood carver at the Bogorodskoe Toy Factory near Sergiev Posad (1953–54) and at the Scientific Research Institute of Arts and Crafts in Moscow (1954–65). Member of the Union of Artists (1965). Died in Moscow (2011). Contributed to exhibitions, including Fairytales in Russia at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2000) and one-man shows at the Alexei Bogolyubov Library of the Arts in Moscow (2009) and Moscow Zoo at 1 Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street (2013).
