Painter, graphic artist, illustrator, writer. Born in the family of Josif Zhutovsky in Moscow (1932). Graduated from Moscow Institute of Polygraphy (1956). Worked in the Urals and Sverdlovsk. Returned to Moscow and illustrated and designed books for various publishing houses (from 1957). Studied in Ely Belyutin’s studio (late 1950s–1962). Forbidden from exhibiting in the Soviet Union after taking part in the infamous Manège show (1962). Joined the Union of Artists (1969). Follower of modernist art in painting and graphic art. Lives in Moscow. Contributed to exhibitions in Russia (from 1959) and Eastern Europe, Italy, Switzerland and West Germany (1964–65).
