Painter, graphic artist, theatrical and film designer, teacher. Born in the family of Semyon Kerner in evacuation in Stalingrad (1941). Studied at the Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1955–59) and under Nikolai Akimov at the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema (1960–64). Worked as a theatrical designer in Krasnoyarsk (1964–65). Returned to Leningrad (1965), where she worked at Lennauchfilm Studios (late 1960s) and taught etching at a house of pioneers (late 1960s–early 1970s). Worked as a stoker and cleared canals of dirt on barges (early 1970s). Committed suicide by throwing herself out the window of a building in Leningrad (1973). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1958), including the exhibition of nonconformist art at the Ivan Gaza Palace of Culture in Leningrad (1974) and Times of Change: Art in the Soviet Union (1960–85) at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2006).
