Mitki
Vladimir Yashke
Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Yevgeny Yashke in Vladivostok (1948). Studied at a children’s school of art in Sebastopole (1961–65) and Moscow Institute of Polygraphy (1966–73). Collaborated with publishing houses in Minsk and Moscow (mid-1970s–early 1980s). Moved to Leningrad (1976). Member of the Union of Artists (1977). Lives and works in St Petersburg. Contributed to the exhibitions of the Mitki group and the Fellowship of Experimental Fine Art (from 1985).
