Tsirkul (Yury Krasev)
Painter, installation artist, writer. Born in the family of Nikolai Krasev in Leningrad (1960). Did not receive a special art education. Member of the New Artists (1982–87). Created installations and objects (1983), starred in parallel cinema (1985). Helped to found the Friends of Mayakovsky Club. Member of the Necrorealists (1986). Writes short stories, plays and poems. Contributed to exhibitions (from 1980).
