George Mgaloblishvili
Georgian painter, architect. Born in Moscow (1956). Graduated from Tbilisi School of Art (1971), Faculty of Architecture of the Georgian Polytechnic Institute (1973) and the creative studio of monumental art of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1985). Took up painting (mid-1970s). Moved to France (1989). Lives and works in Paris. Contributed to exhibitions in St Petersburg (1987), Brussels (1988), Paris (1989, 1990, 1993) and Abstraction in Russia: XX Century at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2001–02).
