Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Pavel Poteshkin in the village of Alexandrovka in Bashkortostan (1926). Studied at a school of art in the village of Voskresenskoe (1942). Moved to Moscow (1946). Took up abstract art (early 1960s). Member of the nonconformist movement and the Union of Artists (1972). Lives in Moscow. Contributed to exhibitions (from 1957), including Abstraction in Russia: XX Century at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2001–02).
