Cuban artist. Born in Havana (1969). Graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana (1990). Docent of the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana (1987–96). Decorated by the Ministerio de Cultura de Cuba for her contribution to national culture (1991). Prize-winner at the Salón Nacional de Grabado Cuba (1993). Awarded the La Joven Estampa prize from Casa de Las Américas, Cuba. Fellow of the Civitella Ranieri Foundation in New York and Rome (1998). Worked at L’École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris. Fellow of the Barbican Centre, London (1999). Lives and works in Havana.
