Georgy (Gaga) Kovenchuk
Graphic artist, painter, sculptor, theatrical designer. Grandson of Nikolai Kulbin. Born in the family of Vasily Kovenchuk in Leningrad (1933). Graduated from the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (1960). Principal designer of Aurora Publishers (1969–72). Illustrated Vladimir Mayakovsky’s The Bedbug (1975). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1972).
