Graphic artist, painter, poster designer. Born in the family of Boris Koretsky in Kiev (1909). Studied at the Moscow Secondary School of Professional Art (1922–29). Designed posters (from 1931). Worked as an editor at Reklamfilm (1939–87). Leading master of photomontage posters (1940s–50s). Winner of the Stalin Prize for wartime posters (1946, 1949). Honoured Artist of the RSFSR (1964). Died in Moscow and buried at the Vagankovo Cemetery (1998). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1932).
