Painter, teacher. Born in the family of Mikhail Korzhev-Chuvelyov in Moscow (1925). Graduated from the Moscow Secondary School of Art (1944) and studied at the Vasily Surikov Institute of Art/Academy of Arts of the USSR (1944–50). Taught at the Moscow School of Art and Industry (1951–58, from 1964), professor (1967). Headed a studio of painting at the Academy of Arts (from 1968). Died in Moscow and buried in the Alexeyevskoe Cemetery at 132 Prospekt Mira (2012). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1954).
