Painter, draughtsman, patron, collector, publisher. Born in the family of a peasant called Timofei Solovyov in the village of Shulgino in Moscow Province (1853). Worked as a draughtsman on stone at Ivan Sytin’s studio (from 1877). Owned a chrome lithographic studio in Moscow. Director of the Ivan Sytin Fellowship (from 1910). Died in an unknown location (1930).
