Grand Duke Pyotr Nikolaevich was born in St Petersburg (1864). He was chief of the Grenadiers Sapper Battalion. Married Princess Militsa of Montenegro. Emigrated after the revolution and lived on the French Riviera. Died in Antibes and buried alongside his brother Nikolai at the Russian Orthodox church in Cannes (1931).
