First wooden bridge across the River Fontanka near the Finnish village of Kaljola or Kallina (1737). Replaced by a multi-span bridge with a bascule mechanism covering both branches of the river (1752), joined during construction of the granite embankments of the Fontanka (1780s). Replaced by a single-model stone bascule bridge with four turrets and a single span by engineers Jan Pieter van Suchtelen and Johann Conrad Gerhard (1786–87).
