Philipp Batenin Factory
One of the most famous private porcelain factories in Russia. Founded on the Vyborg Side of St Petersburg by the merchant Philipp Sergeyevich Batenin (1814). Produced decorative vases and cups and plates with views of St Petersburg. Contributed to the First Public Exhibition of Russian Wares in St Petersburg (1829). Burnt down (1838).
