Ivan Raspopov

Ivan Raspopov (c. 1850–1900), Russian jeweller, goldsmith, silversmith, merchant. Hallmark: ИР. in a rectangle. Owned a workshop in Moscow, where he made jewellery in the Neo-Russian and Art Nouveau styles.

Jeweller, goldsmith, silversmith, merchant. Hallmark: ??. in a rectangle. Born in the family of Nikifor Raspopov (mid-19th century). Owned a workshop in Moscow (1883–1900), where he made gold and silver jewellery in the Neo-Russian and Art Nouveau styles. Won a gold medal at the Pan-Russian Crafts Exhibition in Moscow (1885) and a bronze medal at the Exposition Universelle in Paris (1889). Chairman of the board of the Society for Mutual Assistance to Craftsmen. Died in Moscow (1900), where his work was continued by his widow Yevgenia Raspopova (1900–17).
