Nikolai Burdin
Painter. Worked in Moscow. Studied under Alexei Venetsianov in Safonkovo and St Petersburg (1837–40) and under Alexander Warnek at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1840–43). Awarded the title of non-class artist (1843). Painted the interiors of the Moscow Armoury (1843–44) and a portrait of Tsar Nicholas I (1846).
