Cuban artist. Born in Trinidad (1970). Graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana (1992). Member of Los Carpinteros (1990s). Fellow of the Ludwig Forum für International Kunst, Aachen (1998). Awarded the UNESCO Prize for the Promotion of the Arts in honour of the VI Biennale in Havana (2000). Lives and works in Havana.
