Born in Camagüey (1966). Graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) in Havana (1985). Collaborated with Ileana Villazón (1988–91). Founded the ABTV group of artists with Tanya Ángulo Alemán and José Ángel Toirac Batista. Graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana (1990). Decorated by the Cuban branch of the International Association of Art Critics for curating the Nosotros. Exposición antológica de la obra de Raúl Martínez exhibition (1990). Contributed to the ABTV exhibition. Co-curator of the Cuba. La isla posible exhibition (1995).
