Ekaterinhof Bridge

In 1823, a hanging chain bridge was built across the River Ekaterinhofka at Ekaterinhof – the first of its kind in St Petersburg. The bridge was built by engineers Pierre-Dominique Bazaine and Benoît Clapeyron and dismantled in the late nineteenth century.
