Situated near the Lithuanian Castle on the bank of the Kryukov Canal. Built by Giacomo Quarenghi in the style of the shopping arcades of the time (1787–89). Damaged by a fire (1920s). Replaced by the First Five-Year Plan Palace of Culture (1930s, dismantled 2004).
