Domenico Corsini
Italian theatrical designer. Father of the architect Geronimo Corsini (1808–1876). Studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna. Moved to St Petersburg (1802), where he worked for the Imperial Theatres. Designed the sets for productions of such ballets choreographed by Charles-Louis Didelot as Flore et Zéphire (1808), Psyché et l’Amour (1809), Laura et Lenza: ou, le troubadour (1810) and Acis et Galatée (1816). Academician (1811).
