Painter. Born in Tobolsk in the family of a civil servant called Yegor Pushkarev (1821). Studied at the School of the Resurrection in St Petersburg (1833–35) and under Alexei Markov at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1845–48). Awarded a minor silver medal (1845), major silver medal (1846) and the title of fourteenth-class artist (1848). Painted portraits and interiors.
