Painter, poet, sculptor, object artist, installation artist, graphic artist, performance artist. Born in the family of Alexander Prigov in Moscow (1940). Studied sculpture at the Moscow School of Art and Industry (1959–66). Active participant of the Club of Sculptors at the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists, which held one-day exhibitions and thematic evenings of unofficial art (1970s). Contributed to the concerts of a simulation music group (1986–87). Member of the Club of Avant-Guardists (from 1987). Lived and worked in Moscow and London. Died of a heart attack in Moscow (2007).
