Painter, writer on art. Born in the family of Stanislav Podlyasky in Khabarovsk (1923). Studied at the Leningrad Secondary School of Art (1938–42) and the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1942–49). Honoured Artist of the RSFSR, People’s Artist of the RSFSR. Died in Leningrad (1987). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1949).
