Sculptor, medallist. Born in the family of a gardener called Carl Timus at Pada Manor near Rakvere in north-east Estonia (1865). Designed models for the Imperial Porcelain Factory (1896–1917), including a series of twelve animals (1901–05). Works reproduced with underglaze and overglaze designs (1910s). Emigrated to Estonia (early 1920s). Died in Tallinn (1943).
