Albert Konstantin Keibel

Albert Konstantin Keibel (1854–1910), German jeweller, goldsmith, silversmith. Hallmark: AK or Kleibel. Studied under his father Julius Eduard Keibel and inherited his workshop in St Petersburg. Awarded the imperial warrant for the production of all Russian orders.

German jeweller, goldsmith, silversmith. Hallmark: AK or Keibel. Born in the family of Julius Eduard Keibel in St Petersburg (1854). Studied under his father (1874–82) and inherited his workshop at 30 Bolshaya Zelenina Street (1882). Merchant of the first guild (1880) and master of the guild of foreign masters (1881). Awarded the imperial warrant for the production of all Russian orders (1882–1905). Member of the St Petersburg Commercial Court (1895). Built and lived in a tenement block designed by German architect Gustav von Holy in the Art Nouveau style at the corner of 33 Bolshaya Zelenina Street and 2 Baroque Street on the Petrograd Side (1899–1901). Died in St Petersburg (1910).
