Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Arseny Yakovlev (1841). Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (late 1850s to early 1860s). Awarded a minor silver medal (1859) and the title of non-class artist (1862). Painted ethnographic and urban street types (early 1860s). Died at the age of twenty-two (1863). Contributed to exhibitions, including St Petersburg: A Portrait of the City and its Citizens at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2003).
