Nikolai Stulov

Nikolai Stulov (1918–after 1947): Russian applied artist. Studied wooden carving under his father Mikhail Stulov and worked as a carver of wooden toys in Bogorodskoe.

Applied artist. Related to Ivan Stulov. Born in the family of a wooden carver called Mikhail Stulov (1887–1941) in the village of Bogorodskoe near Sergiev Posad (1918). Studied under his father (1930s) and worked as a carver of Bogorodskoe wooden toys (1940s). Died in an unknown location (after 1947). Contributed to exhibitions, including Fairytales in Russia at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2000).
