Alexander Schadrin (1925–1987): Russian painter, graphic artist. Studied varnished miniature painting in Mstiora and worked at the Proletarian Art Artel. Member of the Union of Artists.

Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Dmitry Schadrin in the village of Mstiora in Vladimir Region (1925). Studied varnished miniature painting at the Mstiora Professional and Technical School of Art (1941–42, 1945–47). Fought and twice injured in the Second World War (1942–45). Worked at the Proletarian Art Artel (from 1947). Member of the Union of Artists (1975). Died at the age of sixty-one (1987). Contributed to exhibitions, including Fairytales in Russia at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2000).
