Armenian painter, graphic artist. Born in Moscow (1939). Studied at a school of art in Moscow (1958–67) and at the Faculty of Applied Art of Moscow Textile Institute (1961–67). Emigrated to the United States (1976). Lives in New York. Contributed to unofficial exhibitions in Moscow (1968–76) and Abstraction in Russia: XX Century at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2001–02).
