Painter, object artist. Born in the family of Nikolai Bich in the town of Stren?i in Latvia (1946). Studied at the studio of Dmitry Sobolev. Took up geometric abstraction (1960). Member of the nonconformist movement. Influenced by Mikhail Cherevanov. Member of the Municipal Committee of Painters and Graphic Artists at 28 Malaya Gruzinskaya Street in Moscow (1977). Leading member of the 20 and 21 groups. Lives and works in Moscow. Contributed to exhibitions in Germany, Austria and Sweden (from late 1980s).
