Painter, graphic artist, assemblage artist. Born in the family of Alexander Povzner in Moscow (1939). Studied at Moscow Institute of Polygraphy (1962–68). Member of the nonconformist movement (from mid-1960s). Member of the Municipal Committee of Painters and Graphic Artists at 28 Malaya Gruzinskaya Street in Moscow (1976) and the Union of Artists (1982). Took up non-objective art (mid-1990s). Contributed to exhibitions in private apartments (from 1975) and abroad (from 1990). Contributed to Abstraction in Russia: XX Century at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2001–02) and Collage in Russia: XX Century at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2005–06).
