Born: 1982, Dundee (Scotland)

Scottish visual and performance artist. Born to Gerard and Donna Marie Halliday in Dundee (28 July 1982). Studied at Dundee College (2001–04) and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee (2004–08). Collaborated with Mary Modeen (2007) and Hara Piperidou (2016). Awarded funding from the Steven Bloch Image of Disability Charitable Trust (2015). Gave presentations at the Royal Academy in London (2015), New York Posthuman Research Group at New York University in New York (2015) and the Virtual Futures Salon in London (2016). Wrote the Cyborgia Manifesto (2010). Lives and works under the name of Hallidonto in London. Contributed to exhibitions (from 2005). Contributed to White Heat at the Kaleid Editions Gallery in London (2010), Rumble Above the Clouds at the Church of St Paul the Apostle in New York (2011), 32 Below at St Cecilia’s Gallery in New York (2011), Edinburgh Art Fair in Edinburgh (2012), Namsong International Art Show at the Seongnam Arts Center in South Korea (2012), TOMS Art of Giving at Whitespace Gallery in Edinburgh (2013), RAW Natural Born Artists in London (2013), Broken Minds at Mother Studios in London (2015) and Wearable Matters at Immersive Gallery in New York (2015).
