Ballerina. Born in Smolensk in the family of Yakov Shelest (1919). Performed at the Kirov Theatre in Leningrad. Winner of the Stalin Prize (1947, 1951), People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1957). Died in St Petersburg and buried at the Volkovo Cemetery (1998).
