Mehran Faghani

Mehran Faghani was born on 17 January 1976 in the city of Qaem Shahr in Mazandaran Province in the north of Iran. He is a graduate of fine art graphics in Isfahan. Mehran Faghani holds a BA Honours of the Iranian Calligraphers Association and an MA in Painting from Tehran University of Art and Architecture. He is a member of the Union of Iranian Painters and a professor at the University of Crafts. Mehran Faghani is the author of two books on the visual arts in Iran. He has participated in over twenty individual and group exhibitions in Tehran, Isfahan and Mazandaran, including a miniature exhibition in Milan (Italy). Mehran Faghani is the owner, director and founder of the Art School in Qaem Shahr, where he has taught calligraphy and painting for the past fifteen years. The artist’s main style is miniature painting.
