Pauline Regiment
The Pauline Grenadier Regiment (1796) was later renamed the Pauline Life Guards with the rights of junior (1812) and senior guards (1831), in recognition of its feats of arms. The regimental barracks were designed by Vasily Stasov on the Field of Mars (1817–19).
