The Book of Matthew describes how Jesus met two brothers, Andrew and Simon called Peter, catching fish at the Lake of Gennesaret, otherwise known as the Sea of Galilee. Calling on them to leave their nets and become “fishers of men”, Jesus began preaching the Word of God on the shore of the lake.
