Worldbackwards (Mirskontsa) was a lithographed booklet published in a limited edition of 220 copies by Georgy Kuzmin and Sergei Dolinsky in Moscow in November 1912. The transrational poems of Alexei Kruchenykh and Velimir Khlebnikov were illustrated by Natalia Goncharova, Mikhail Larionov, Nikolai Rogovin and Vladimir Tatlin. Natalia Goncharova's use of the collage in her cover designs for Worldbackwards was the first time that this technique was employed in Russian book art – although certainly not the last.
