Imperial Yachts Museum

The Imperial Yachts Museum is located a little way from the main tourist sites, not far from the landing wharf on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. The collection includes unique objects from the life of the imperial family when they took to the high seas. Photographs and models of these floating palaces lift the veil on a little-known aspect of Russian history – the sailing traditions of the Romanov family. A large section is dedicated to the Standart – the ocean-going yacht which served the last emperor, Nicholas II.

The museum is open from 10.30 am to 6 pm; ticket office closes at 5 pm

Closed every Monday
