Painter. Son of Vasily Moshkov. Studied under Pyotr Ivanovich Sokolov and Ivan Akimov at the Imperial Academy of Arts. Academician of history painting (1797). Painted icons for the St Sophia Cathedral in Tsarskoe Selo (1793), Trinity Cathedral at the St Alexander Nevsky Monastery (1794) and the Kazan Cathedral in St Petersburg (1809).
