Engraver, illustrator. Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (from 1809). Worked as an engraver at the Military Printing Works in St Petersburg (1830s–50s). Contributed lithographs to Costumes and Views of St Petersburg and Environs (1832), Biographies of Russian Generalissimos and Fieldmarshals (1840) and Description of the Russian Empire in Historical, Geographical and Statistical Respects (1844–45). Lithographed the left-hand side of the thirteen-foot Nevsky Prospekt panorama (1835) and views of St Petersburg after watercolours by Vasily Sadovnikov.
