Lithographer, draughtsman, painter. Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1855–61). Awarded a minor silver medal (1860) and the title of free artist of portrait painting (1861). Ran a lithographic studio in St Petersburg (1850s–60s). Lithographed Pyotr Fyodorovich Sokolov’s watercolour portrait of Alexander Pushkin (1884).
