Antonio Núnez Hernández
Cuban artist. Born in Camagüey (1971). Graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana (1991). Fellow of the ProHelvetia Foundation in Valais, Switzerland. Trained at the Banff Center for the Arts in Alberta, Canada (1999). Fellow of the Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst, Aachen (2001). Lives and works in Havana. Contributed to Salón de Premiados at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Havana (1991), Cómo es posible ser cubano? at the Fundación Ludwig de Cuba in Havana and the Maison de l’Amérique Latine in Paris (1998) and the one-man shows Fantasmas que hombres vivientes han honrado en bronce at the Museo Agramonte in Camagüey (1990) and J-aulas at the Fundación Ludwig de Cuba in Havana (1998).
