Alexander Lisovsky

Alexander Lisovsky (born 1959, Odessa), Ukrainian postmodern painter, graphic artist, collagist, object artist, installation artist. Studied at the Mitrofan Grekov School of Art in Odessa. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Lives and works in Odessa.

Ukrainian painter, graphic artist, collagist, object artist, installation artist. Born in the family of Alexander Lisovsky in Odessa (1959). Studied at Odessa Children’s School of Art (1971–74) and the Mitrofan Grekov School of Art in Odessa (1974–79). Member of the Creative Unification of Artists (1986) and the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1993). Lives and works in Odessa. Contributed to exhibitions (from 1983), including group exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the United States, joint exhibition with Boris Markovnikov at the 1.0 Gallery in Moscow (1994) and a one-man show at the NT-Art Gallery in Odessa (2011).
